A July Update

Updated: Jul 28, 2020

What a busy Month Already. So far this month i have gotten the privilege to do some photo shoots in Durango, CO and Bayfield, CO. I was a bit nervous at first, because it was my first time doing photo shoots in these areas, but let me tell you, the portraits came out amazing! One of the clients was a bit nervous and a little self conscious, so that kinda upped the ante on me.

So for me, in photography, it can be a bit daunting because essentially you have control of how you make your client look, which can be a big deal for a lot of people, because you don't want to make them look bad, or displeasing. BUT Not to brag, but. after visiting with the client and kinda getting her to relax, our shoot went really well. I loved that it was more of just like friends taking pictures and hanging out. These are the experiences that i LOVE. and by then end of the session she was comfortable and confident in herself and in my work.

But the best part of the whole shoot. When i got home, got all the photos through Lightroom. And sent them off to her. She was, in her words "over the moon" about the way her photos turned out. This really is the reason i love what i do. She came into the session self conscious and nervous, and at the end of it, she felt beautiful (which, she really was) and empowered. This was literally the best feeling ever, knowing that my work made her so happy.

So in the coming weeks, i will be working with and actress in Farmington, NM to get her some updated headshots and modeling photos. Im super excited to see what kind of creativity we can come up with.

Friends, Stay healthy & safe. But also don't forget to live life.
